Today, Nicola continued to create the 'Hazard' sign which I helped her with. Here is photos of the process of how we made the sign.
- Firstly we re-painted over the yellow cardboard cut out Nicola had already created. We painted over it a dark yellow as the yellow underneath was quite light and difficult to see under the lighting.
- In order to make the sign look life-like, we painted a bold, black outline around the sign.
- In addition, we printed off a large coloured image of an apple, cut it out and glued the image in the centre of the page
- Lastly, we painted a large, bold, black 'X' over the apple to emphasize that Snow is warned not to eat them.

In conclusion, this prop has been a success; Nicola and I were able to manage our time well as we were able to complete this within 1 hour. I do admire how the large 'X' over the apple poses a question on the audience and how the eletric and enegetic colours catches the audiences eye. I feel that creating a prop instead of buying/ordering it has been cheaper, yet, a more creative way of adding props into our opening, this allowed us to experence different types of process when creating an object.
