This blog was created to put my Media Studies AS coursework on to. My aim is to produce a 2 minute film opening of my chosen genre. I will be working in a group with: Chloe King and Nicola Ho.

These are the important steps which we’ll produce and cover within the ten week period which will be placed onto our blogs:

·         Research and ideas

·         Research into genre codes and convections

·         Textual analysis of a two minute clip from a film based within the chosen genre

·         Storyboard

·         Short cuts

·         Location scouting (taking photos or videos with commentary)

·         Organization of props, costumes and make up

·         Institutional research – production company and distribution studios

·         Logo design and audience – this will include experimenting with different types of software’s.

·         Audience analysis - questionnaire, define the audience, what audience consumers, their likes and  interests etc.

·         Music

·         Plot summary – 200 words on what the film is about

·         Script
