Week 1 – Action Plan:

Here is my first week action plan which will structure what I will produce within the first week of the set time period.

Group members:

·         Tayla Powell (blue posts means the work is mine)

·         Chloe King (purple posts means the work is Chloe’s)

·         Nicola Ho (pink posts means the work is Nicola’s)

For week 1, we will complete:

We will do individually: 

·         Textual analysis of a chosen film (2 minute opening) that fits the genre we are using to get inspiration, analysing the camera angle and shots, music, mise en scene, editing and sound.

·         Research into different genres

We will do together:

·         Brain storm genres/ideas – events, plots, characters.



·         Decide on a genre for the film opening

 

-          I will be analysing the two film genres, ‘action and horror’ also completing the textual analysis based around the fantasy genre ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and based on the thriller genre ‘Legion.’





-          Chloe will be analysing the two genres, ‘drama and thriller’, also completing the textual analysis based around the fantasy and thriller ‘Red Riding Hood.’

  



-          Nicola will be analysing the two genres, ‘romance and fantasy’, also completing the textual analysis based around the fantasy ‘Twilight.’

Chloe King, Nicola Ho and I will complete this task individually and bring our research and ideas together.
